Artist concept of the T-95 Titan flyby

October 14, 2013

This is a highly inclined flyby, with closest approach near the equator, providing coverage of the equatorial region out to both mid Northern and Southern latitudes. With closest approach in the noon region during a period of high solar activity, this is the best pass in the Solstice mission to study the effects of solar input on Titan’s atmosphere.
