NASA’s Cassini spacecraft took these two wide-angle images of the Saturnian moons Dione and Rhea on Oct. 17, 2010. The images are raw images that have not been validated or calibrated. The image of Dione was taken from approximately 36,065 kilometers (22,410 miles) away. The image of Rhea was taken from approximately 39,168 kilometers (24,338 miles) away.

These images have not been validated or calibrated. Validated/calibrated images will be archived with the NASA Planetary Data System in 2011.
