On Sept. 23-24, 2005, the Cassini-Huygens radar team continuously scans Saturn from pole to pole, letting Saturn's rotation sweep the atmosphere across the track. This image details the planned passive radar data collection scheme. Data is gathered on the presence of ammonia cloud thermal emissions in the deep atmosphere.
