This southern flyby features the Visual and Infrared Mapping Spectrometer (VIMS) observing Ontario Lacus and the south polar region, while the Imaging Science Subsystem (ISS), riding along, attempts very high-resolution imaging of the region. Following closest approach, the Radio Science Subsystem (RSS) probes surface conditions near Titan's mid-northern latitudes.
