The story of the international Cassini-Huygens mission to Saturn and Titan is a compelling tale -- a tale in which new chapters are written every month. Halfway into the prime mission, over 100,000 raw images, nearly 2,000 press images, 100 videos and 500 news releases are available for the presenter to use.
Cassini outreach wants to help museums and informal educators find the most up-to-date programming.
Ring World 2
A DVD update to the 2004 planetarium show Ring World is still available. The Ring World 2 DVD tells the story of the Cassini-Huygens mission to Saturn and Titan, and includes details about Cassini's thrilling July 2004 Saturn Orbit Insertion. It also covers the successful descent and landing of the Huygens probe on Titan in January 2005, plus images from the first exploration of Saturn's icy moon Enceladus in February 2005. The 35 minute DVD is suitable for all age groups. You can also download a podcast of the DVD in both English and Spanish here. For more information or questions, contact Jane Houston Jones at Jane.H.Jones@jpl.nasa.gov or (818) 393-6435.

The Cassini-Huygens Mission participates in the NASA Museum Alliance to assure that Alliance members have ready access to news, image products, schedules, and professional development resources relevant to mission. The Museum Alliance calendar of events announces Cassini related museum events open to the public.
If you are interested in joining the Museum Alliance, information and Frequently Asked Questions are available on the "Register Here" link of the Museum Alliance website.
In All Its Glory
It is difficult to visualize the sheer size of the Cassini spacecraft. A full-scale replica is on display at the California Science Center in Los Angeles, Calif. The model spacecraft, standing as tall as a 30-passenger bus, is a majestic centerpiece in the Center's Air and Space Gallery.
