This model was developed for the Cassini Teacher Guide. Some compromises in accuracy were made to keep the model easy to assemble. The model includes the Huygens probe, the magnetometer boom, the remote sensing platform which contains the imaging instruments or "cameras", the fields and particles platform, and the Cosmic Dust Analyzer. Assembly only requires scissors and tape or glue. Assembly time is 3 to 6 hours. Detailed instructions for assembly are included in the file.
